Kayla Harvey
Co-Owner & CEO
Growing up with big aspirations for life, Kayla found her passion for baking in 2023 when she developed the 'brookie' alongside her brother. With big dreams to take Bar Down Bakery across Canada, Kayla DIY built their first bakery location in Fort Langley, with some help with family and friends.
She actively serves as the CEO and lead creative behind Bar Down Bakery.
John Dunham
Co-Owner & Lead Pastry Chef
After dedicating 11 years to the culinary industry, John came to Bar Down Bakery with the hopes of further developing his skillset.
John actively serves as the Head Pastry Chef for Bar Down Bakery.
Brayden Harvey
Co-owner
As a big hockey fan, Brayden has always loved to play sports, alongside his other hobbies.
After supporting Kayla in her dreams for the bakery, it is now her turn to support him as he takes a step back to pursue his professional aspirations.
Our story
Originally started by brother and sister duo Kayla and Brayden Harvey as a way to spend more time together and chase a childhood dream, Bar Down Bakery has grown into a national movement.
With the goal of finding philanthropy in business, we believe that you should expect more from your baked goods - not only should they nourish your community, but they should also give back.
We are proud to be a community-forward and charitable company; each month we partner with a different local charity to donate a portion of profits to them.
